Dear Friends and Supporters of Night Court,
It's that most amazing time of year again!!
Night Court, Houston's all-lawyer theater company that performs an original musical comedy annually at the Hobby Center in downtown Houston, is gearing up for our summer show! Night Court is a public 501(c)(3) charity that donates its proceeds to Houston area charities that provide free legal services to people in need here in our community.
Night Court 2023 – The Law Files – will be performed at the Hobby Center’s Zilkha Hall from August 16 to 19, 2023. With themes and characters from The X-Files, Stranger Things, Men In Black, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, The Law Files will also feature the greatest hits of the 80’s and 90’s from a wide variety of artists and styles. This year will be the debut of Night Court’s new director, Dr. Bobby Linhart, who brings decades of award-winning theater experience to our company and most recently back-to-back Tommy Tune Awards for Best Director.
The 2023 beneficiaries of Night Court are as follows: Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Beacon Law, Child Advocates, Houston Area Women's Center Children's Court Services Program, Houston Volunteer Lawyers, Lone Star Legal Aid Military Veterans Unit, and the South Texas College of Law Houston Legal Clinics.
Night Court offers a variety of sponsorship packages to suit the budgets and advertising goals of most businesses and individuals. Our lawyers are from some of the biggest firms and companies in town and 2,000 people from Houston's business and legal community will be attending our show this year.
Night Court has been approved for 2 hours of CLE Ethics Credits!!
